The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC)
Practical support for you and your family
Omexom works closely with the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC), which provides free and confidential support to people working in the electrical and energy industries and their families.
Sometimes the support you need might be more practical or specialist. EIC can help with a wide range of issues, including:
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Financial difficulties and managing debt
- Bereavement
- Family and relationship problems
- Ill health and disability
- Legal advice
- Redundancy, job loss and CV support
EIC will look at your individual circumstances and help you find the most appropriate support.
Your Wellbeing Champions
Our Wellbeing Champions aren't counsellors and they aren't expected to have all the answers. They are colleagues who can listen, offer support and help point you towards the right resources or professional help if you need it.
Sometimes speaking to someone you know at work can be the easiest first step.
Across Omexom, we also have Wellbeing Champions who are there to help create a workplace where people feel able to talk about wellbeing and know where to turn when they need support.
